A little rule of prayer

Small prayers, steady moments, and a more attentive heart in the days of motherhood.

Begin with something small

Prayer in family life often has to fit between ordinary tasks. A brief morning prayer, a blessing before a meal, or a quiet moment at bedtime can give the day a familiar shape.

Make room for the real day

A small rhythm is easier to return to than an ambitious one that leaves no room for interruptions. When a day changes, the invitation to prayer remains.

Return gently

These are starting points for reflection rather than a prescribed prayer rule. A personal rule can be discussed with a priest or spiritual father and shaped to the needs of the family.
