A quieter rhythm
Some seasons interrupt the rhythm we expected. The plans become smaller, the hours feel longer, and the work of a day may simply be to receive it.
Room for prayer
A quiet room can become a place to notice what was hidden by hurry: a small kindness, a familiar prayer, the presence of someone who sits beside us. There is room here for both hope and uncertainty.
Receiving this day
Perhaps the invitation is gentle: attend to the next ordinary moment, ask for help when it is needed, and let prayer be as simple as a few honest words.
